  • Several types of thermal tests are required for development, performance validation, and to ensure the survivability of the spacecraft in operation.

 

  • These tests can be performed in components, subsystems, and systems levels. The thermal testing usually includes a Thermal Cycle Test (TCT), Thermal Vacuum Test (TVT) and Thermal Balance Test (TBT).

 

Space Environment Simulator Specifications:

  • Operating pressure up to (6.5 x 10-5 Pa).
  • Operating temperature up to (100K)

 

Can:

  • Simulate the dark / cold environment of outer space.
  • Simulation of outer space vacuum environment.

 

Facilities:

The Thermal Vacuum Chamber.

Nitrogen system.

Control and monitoring system.
