Introduction to Satellite Systems Engineering Online Course

Course Contents

Prerequisites:

Space Science Background

Introducing and system-level understanding of the elements of space mission architecture, with a focus on implementation, mission goals, and conceptual design.

The Space Mission is a compromise. It is the best overall solution to the user requirements of a wide number of parts, including spacecraft, launch vehicle, and ground section.
All these processes communicate intensely with each other, but they must function in harmony.
By the end of the course, the student would have shown the ability to:

1- Figure out the role of the design and analysis of subsystems of spacecraft.

2.Application of orbital mechanics method
and tools to spacecraft mission development

3. Allocate suitable launch systems and understanding their effects on satellite and payload design and performance.

4. Appraise the performance and trade of spacecraft subsystems.
